The 90th Anniversary Ball, was held at Beaumont House, Windsor on Saturday 24th April 2010 and it was a resounding success. Over 140 past and present AHC members attended the event, which was held in the Chapel at Beaumont. A souvenir programme, key ring and a display of old team photographs and AHC personalities were specially produced for the event. We hope to have copies of the latter available for purchase on CD soon. If you are interested in buying one or would like a copy of the programme, which contains copies of some of the photographs and a potted history of the Club, then please contact me (Lynne president@ashfordhockeyclub.co.uk). The results of the Grand Draw and will be published soon and pictures from the event available soon from Breeze Photographic. Many Club members helped to make the event the success it undoubtedly was, but chief organisers Hayley Eames and Wendy Baker (the latter in particular), are due a massive vote of thanks, from everyone. They not only had the vision and creative ideas to stage such an event, but also the management skills and endless patience to make sure it not only went as planned, but that it could be enjoyed by all so THANK YOU VERY MUCH BOTH.
