Due to the icy conditions the Ladies 3's away game was cancelled, but the Ladies 4's and the Antiques managed to play their games at Short Lane. The 4's did really well as they held a strong BA/Hayes 2's to a very creditable 1-1 draw. Unfortunately Gemma Pyle got hit on the face after the ball flew up from a tackle, and she ended up with a rather fat lip and 1 stitch on her cheek and 4 inside. Get well soon Gemma.

As usual there was a big crowd and plenty of festivities for the AA's game and a visit from Santa after. The game started well, with 20 minutes of very even play. Sunbury then brought on two young, male subs who upset the rhythm of the game. The AA's battled well, and probably did deserve to lose which we did 4-1, but the spirit of the game was lost! We still had a good get together and catch up and as you can see from the great photo of Barbie, it was a festive occasion. We hope to have access to Steve's photos from today soon, and I will notify you when they are available.

The men's 2's game v local rivals Staines HC was cancelled due to a frozen pitch, but the 4's did a 120 + mile trip to beat Tonbridge Black Knights 2-1, well done Gordon & co.
