I think today was probably our best Saturday of hockey so far this season. The Ladies 1's started things off with a super opening 20 minutes of flowing hockey. Everyone played their part and chances were created, but unfortunately not converted. However, the goals must start coming soon if the squad keep up their fluent team work. Although the 2's lost, it was a narrow defeat and again they played well and although I don't normally single out the goalscorers, Kim Downs deserves a mention as she got the first AHC Ladies hat trick of the season/day. The 3's had an awkward journey to play top of the table team and as yet unbeaten, Ealing 1's and quickly found themselves 3-0 down, but battled on bravely. Ladies team of the day were the 4's, who dominated play from the start and ran out convincing 7-1 winners, with Freddie Chudleigh getting the second AHC hat trick on the day.
