A good day for the Ladies, with two wins, a draw and a narrow defeat. The 1's started proceedings with the early 10 am game at home and won 2-1, in a match they should have won by more goals. However, the team worked hard and did suffer several injuries during the game, leaving them without any substitutes at one stage. The 1's deserved their three points win and move up to 6th in the League, extending their unbeaten run to six games. With two games left, they could finish as high as 4th, but next week they face the clear League leaders, who have already won the Premier League title and gained promotion to the South League, so face a stiff test. The 2's followed on and also played well, taking the game to the opposition and almost snatching a draw or win. but eventually being defeated 1-0. The 3's travelled to Eastcote and earned a good point to keep them in the 3rd from the bottom position i.e. just above the relegation zone, with one game to go and all to play for. The 4's were the stars of the day, despite losing players today and having to get two 3's players to rush back to double up (thanks ladies). They went 2-0 up with only 9 on the pitch and eventually won 5-1. Today's results were:

1's won 2-1 v Winchmore Hill & Enfield 1's (H)
2's lost 0-1 v Hendon & Mill Hill 1's (H)
3's drew 1-1 v Eastcote 4's (A)
4's won 5-1 v BA/Hayes 2's (H)

The men did even better with 3 wins and a draw. Well done to the 1's and 2's on their splendid victories. The 4's had to play on away grass (?), but they managed another win & to extend their unbeaten run to four games. The full results were:

1's won 2-1 v Oxford University 2's (H)
2's won 4-2 v Abingdon 1's (A)
3's drew 1-1 v Newbury & Thatcham 4's (H)
4's won 3-2 v Purley (A)
