Club President and Life Member Lynne Morgan won the prestigious "Outstanding Services to Sport" award at this year's Spelthorne Sports Awards ceremony. Lynne was nominated by Club Life Member Mrs Shirley Winson and given the shield and replica (sponsored by 'everyone active'), by double Olympic silver medallist in rowing Debbie Flood. Fellow AHC members Jackie Parsons and Doreen Brown were also in attendance to represent the Club. Hockey and AHC (along with the flag) were mentioned several times in the resume of Lynne's activities.
