2020 looks like a shoo-in

After we've been home for a month. Travel blues have finally started to dissipate and we settle in to the business at hand - the 2019/20 season. However, we still have time to look back on the tour one last time.
The Ashford men played a total of 5 out of 6 fixtures in the men's division, the last being cancelled. Competitive to the end the tour saw the focus on development pay dividends when the men on tour overcame the U21 Barbados National training squad 2-1 in bottom of the table rumble.
Having to play short a goalkeeper for the first half, didn't seem too much of a hurdle for the group on tour, as after a few days the tourists seemed to start acclimatizing to the heat.
A 3-1 defeat to the Trinidad and Tobago Police, who went on to play a blazing semi men against eventual champions ABC saw us bow out of the Men's Division and enter the plate competition.
Unfortunately the group couldn't repeat the success against the U21 Barbados unit and went under in sudden death penalty flicks.
With such a great tour in the bag we look forward to a great season and possibly an end to the year the way we started back in Barbados.
