On Sunday 6th May ex Great Britain and England International, and current Surbiton Ladies first team player Beckie Middleton returned to Short Lane on Sunday 6th May. This time as part of the 1-2-1 Coaching staff, to run three 1 hour courses:

1 . Teaching the Basics;
2. Captivating Kids;
3. Coaching Through Gameplay.

for AHC coaches, sponsored by the Club President. Nine coaches were able to attend all three sessions, and despite it being a scorching hot morning, they all enjoyed the sessions and hand outs provided and were issued with certificates at the end. The AHC members didn't mind being put through their paces and Beckie was pleased with their input and enthusiasm and remarked that they were a lot more talented than some of them thought they were. well done all and a win/win situation for all.
