Not a good week for the Ladies section, as we had to concede the 4's game due to lack of numbers and although we played three games today, we didn't score any goals. However, the 1's put in a good performance against a very organised, top of league and already promoted Hampstead & Westminster team. The 2's unfortunately got well beaten, but they still have a brilliant team spirit and Elize Brown has done an incredible job as skipper (assisted by Kim Downs and the Club Captains), and have one game left to play. The 3's put in an excellent shift against second in the League team NPL and secured and a valuable point to finish their season with three draws and a win in their last four games. Moreover, they should remain in Division 2 next season, which is vital to the Club's future. The full results were:

1's lost 0-4 v Hampstead & Westminster 3's (H)
2's lost 0-7 v Eastcote 2's (A)
3's drew 0-0 v NPL 1's (H)
4's walk over 0-2 to PHC Chiswick 6's (A)

Pleased to report that the Men's section did better, with a good win for the 3's, a draw for the 1's, but unfortunately defeats for the 2's and 4's. Whilst the 1's have two league games left, the 2,s, 3's and 4's only have one left. The full results were:

1's drew 2-2 v Marlow 1's (A)
2's lost 1-4 v Oxford University 3's (A)
3's won 4-1 v Abingdon 2's (A)
4's lost 2-3 v Sutton Valence (A)

The Chairman successfully held his Quiz night in the evening and I enclose a picture of the winning team. Congratulations all.
