The game started positively with the home team on the attack within minutes! A few close attempts on goal and the team knew all they needed was to keep the momentum. It didn't take long for the deadlock to be broken with a fantastic opening goal with a strike from, player of the match, Nadia seeing the ball lifted just wide and Emily deflecting it in the air into the back on the net! Within minutes Bash was firing a ball into the D finding Lucy who slot the ball past the keeper. Some great switching play from the back found the home team getting the ball quickly up the pitch for a string of attacks. Another 2 goals in quick succession saw Lucy get her hatrick! Composure and style from OMTs saw the ball held in their attacking corner just before half time, when a surprising cross got a great deflection leaving a 4-1 score line at half time. The second half started strongly for the home side and a volley goal from Kelly opened the scoring. Emily got another in the second half from great position and Lucy, not content with her hatrick score her forth! Just before the end saw a good short corner routine break through the solid AHC defensive line, leaving the final score at 7-2.
