The 2s had a close away game this week in distance as well as score line. It was a very even game throughout with some great attacks from both sides, but equally solid defence were stopping the gaols beings converted. Eventually a well worked attack saw Catherine Brantslot the ball away for AHC to take a 1-0 lead. Half way through the second half the away team managed to penetrate the Ashford defence and equalise. A very tightly contested game continued, until a controversial goal for Staines led to a 2-1 defeat. A disappointing scoreline where a drew would have felt like a fair result.
