After a very enjoyable, competitive yet friendly and hot series of League games the final was played between BA/Hayes and Staines Development at Ashford on Tuesday 17th July. BA/Hayes had been the strongest team ill summer and their strength and experience shone through against an ever improving Staines Development side. Early goals from BA/Hayes didn't dampen the Staines team's enthusiasm and they battled hard, but eventually lost 5 -1 with Sandra Lewis getting four goals and Louise Kelsh the other one for the new Chamins BA/Hayes.

Thus a different Team's name will be engraved on the Trophy. At the presentation ceremony after both teams thanked Charmez and Claire Brant of AHC for organising the games and all the umpires ans bar staff Mick Tilt and Keith Nash who have looked after the teams drinks needs.

Everyone agreed it had been a fun league and all wanted to play in it again next summer.
