Hatrick Debutant

After enduring traffic conditions out of Dante's Inferno, the 3s arrived hungry to get the season underway. Straight from the off they went on the attack against Windsor with Harry Parker launching some dangerous attacks. Pressure eventually told midway through the 1st half when Elliot Symes struck for the 1st goal. The Windsor post preventing a 2nd goal shortly after. Windsor were able to muster some attacks but excellent defensive work saw this didn't result in anything. Shortly before half time Ashford extended the lead when Chris Taylor hit a powerful reverse shot.

The 2nd half began with Windsor having the early momentum but once again Ashford discipline held firm. Special mention going to Chris Taylor for his kamikaze style approach when running out to block a short corner. After withstanding Windsor pressure, Ashford then went on the counter attack and quickly took the game away from Windsor. Father and son duo of Ian and Harry Parker both found themselves on the score sheet whilst Chris Taylor got two more to seal a hat trick.

An excellent showing of teamwork and communication shone through with Ashford walking away 6-0 winners and going top of the league.
