The 2s went into their final game of the year looking for a result against Oxford Hawks 4s, a team just one point ahead of them in the league, the game was all to play for.
We started well creating plenty of chances but failed to convert, leading to a stalemate, the first half ended a tense 0-0.
Just after the break... penalty corner... low flick into the bottom left... Ryan Croxon ends the first half of the season atop the goal scoring leader board.
We started to play the ball around and created serval good goal scoring chance including a two on one, Olly Coombe playing the ball to Shane Smith on the back post unfortunately Shane slipped and scored a goal any Ronaldo would be proud of.
The last few minutes of the game saw the Red and Black Army defending against Oxford's relentless attacks, including Jack Barber missing kicking a clearance and gifting the opposition with a chance, which he promptly saved.
At the final whistle, 3 points, putting the 2s, 4th for Christmas.
Mom: A four way tie between Steve Law, Ryan, Olly and Robert Forster
